These opportunities may include requests for bid (RFBs), requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for qualifications (RFQs), requests for information (RFIs) and/or offers of surplus property.

Submissions
To submit a bid or proposal, respondents and bidders must download and print the solicitation documents and follow the instructions therein. Additional documents, if any, that are a part of a specific solicitation, such as technical specifications and drawings, should also be downloaded. Any oversized documents, such as blueprints, may be available in hard copy, and the means of obtaining a copy of an oversized document will be provided in the specific solicitation.
If revisions to a solicitation or offer are required after initial publication, they will be posted to this website as addenda to the specific solicitation or offer, and bidders and respondents are required to acknowledge any such revision in their response to that solicitation. Failure to acknowledge revisions as instructed in the specification may be cause for rejection to the response; therefore, please check this website regularly for solicitation revisions.
MRSC Rosters
MRSC Rosters is a statewide resource utilized by local governments to efficiently procure services and goods from vendors interested in government bidding opportunities.
South Sound 911 is among over 600 public agencies in Washington registered with MRSC Rosters to contact registered businesses for small public works projects, consulting opportunities, and contracting opportunities for goods and services.
MRSC Rosters provides the agency’s official Small Works Roster, Architectural and Engineering (A&E) Roster, and Vendor Roster. This service is used to generate rosters and notify contractor and consultants of upcoming bidding and contracting opportunities. When utilizing an MRSC Roster, solicitations are sent directly to contractors registered with South Sound 911 on the corresponding roster. Only contractors notified directly by South Sound 911 regarding a specific solicitation may participate and respond to that solicitation.
Businesses interested in participating on roster projects are required to create an account on the MRSC website and select South Sound 911 within the vendor registration. Read more about the roster process on the MRSC Business FAQ page.

Electronic Bidding
South Sound 911 uses a new online bidding portal (Bonfire) that allows businesses to submit bids and statements of qualifications/proposals to South Sound 911 digitally. Registration is easy and free — you do not need to subscribe to Bonfire premium services.
