Kevin Yamamoto
Kevin is local government attorney with more than 27 years of experience. He also served as city manager of the City of Puyallup where he joined in the multi-jurisdictional effort to establish South Sound 911 by initiating the manager/administrator committee, serving on the cost allocation committee, and collaborating to establish a governance structure.
Kevin’s most recent city attorney appointment was with the City of Puyallup, while his earliest city attorney appointment with a small municipality occurred in 1999.
After law school, Kevin served as an associate attorney with a law firm that had a practice area focus in local government. The firm’s clients included cities, a town, and fire districts.
Kevin is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and he is also admitted to practice in United States District Court, Western District of Washington.
Kevin obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Walla Walla University, magna cum laude, and his Juris Doctor degree from Seattle University, School of Law.
