Public agency fire/EMS (emergency medical services) personnel acting in an official capacity may request audio records through South Sound 911’s dedicated online portal. To access this portal, a Fire Agency Account must be created, and access shall be determined in South Sound 911’s sole discretion following a verification process.
A fire/EMS agency shall include those public agencies that provide fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical response services to the public. Such agencies are publicly funded and operated in coordination with various levels of government. Other entities and individuals – including private fire, security, or ambulance companies, insurance agents, attorneys, and members of the public – must use the Public Records Portal to request police or fire records held by South Sound 911.
