The Technical Services department was created to specialize in radio and phone services, computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems, network operations and software development – the mission critical systems for emergency communications. South Sound 911’s leadership role in providing these services for dispatchers, call takers and emergency responders in the field warranted dedicated staff to focus on these systems.

All together, Technical Services supports nearly 2,300 users of South Sound 911-provided systems and technology solutions that can be accessed from a city or rural office, in the field, or on the go via laptops or tablets in patrol cars or fire rigs.
