South Sound 911 unveiled its new website today with a fresh, clean design and improved, user-friendly navigation.
Information is now accessed directly from South Sound 911’s home page, whether about 911 or services obtained at the public counter, such as concealed pistol licensing and fingerprinting. Graphic buttons, detailed drop-down menus, search fields, FAQs, and an “I Want To” menu make finding information on the site easier.
“As a growing interlocal agency, we are working to fulfill the promise made to voters by being a trusted connection to the numerous services provided by our staff on behalf of our public safety partner agencies,” said Executive Director Andrew Neiditz. “Our re-designed website brings us a step closer by improving the online ‘connection’ between citizens and those services.”
South Sound 911’s website underwent a six-month re-design process with CivicPlus, a government website provider, with guidance from a South Sound 911 team. The team updated content and researched website traffic and website functionality in order to efficiently present the information and services in greatest demand.
