Local 911 and non-emergency callers may be asked Coronavirus (COVID-19) symptom-related questions during their call, but the additional questions will not delay the dispatching of police, fire, or medical responders.
Callers may be asked if individuals at a scene are experiencing fever, coughing, or trouble breathing. Callers’ answers will help responders be prepared upon arrival.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as we adapt to changing conditions designed to slow the spread of COVID-19 in Pierce County.
