Assistant Director Rebecca Hendricks has worked in the public sector since 2005 starting in the City of Lakewood prosecutor’s office as a victim advocate and paralegal. In 2012, Rebecca joined the Washington State Attorney General’s Office as a supervisory paralegal and, in 2013, came to South Sound 911.
At South Sound 911, Rebecca is credited with revamping the agency’s public records processes and successfully managing a variety of projects and initiatives related to the agency’s transitions. She is currently coordinating the public safety communications center (PSCC) project team and also serves as Clerk to the Policy Board and Operations Board.
Rebecca earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Washington, and in her previous legal career completed one year of the Washington State Bar Law Clerk Program.
Rebecca is a Washington native and currently resides in Tacoma with her two children.
