South Sound 911 strives to increase awareness of 911 and the organization by forging partnerships in the community and industry. The Community Relations department is responsible for the agency’s official communications, including social media, press releases and announcements, and the award-winning annual report and website. The department also manages South Sound 911’s Volunteer Program.
The Community Relations Manager, 911 Education Coordinator, and the agency’s Community Relations Team (CRT) also work to shine the light on exemplary actions, promote efforts to improve 911 services, educate, and raise community support and awareness. If you see South Sound 911 at a community event, you’re seeing the agency’s CRT at work!
