South Sound 911 is accepting submittals from qualified firms for a request for qualifications for architectural/engineering services for the design of a South Sound 911 Public Safety Communications Center to house 911 call taking and dispatch, records management and agency administration.
Submittals will be received until 3:00 p.m., Pacific Daylight Savings Time, July 18, 2017, at which time they will be recorded and forwarded to a Selection Advisory Committee for evaluation. Pre-submittal questions will be accepted until June 19, 2017.
Submittals will be received and date/time stamped only at the South Sound 911 Budget and Finance Department, 955 Tacoma Avenue South, Suite 102, Tacoma, WA 98402. All submittals must be received prior to the stated deadline, and a list of firms who submitted proposals for this solicitation will be available at the website for public viewing before 5 p.m. PDST the following business day.
A pre-submittal conference will be held on June 26, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. PDST, at West Pierce Fire & Rescue Station 20, 10928 Pacific Hwy SW, Lakewood, WA 98499. The purpose of the pre-submittal meeting is to answer questions about this solicitation and any special or technical requirements.
