South Sound 911 launches new system for reporting crimes online in certain local jurisdictions

South Sound 911 launched a new, improved version of its online reporting system today. The system is available for the reporting of minor crimes occurring in the cities of Lakewood, Roy, Ruston, Sumner, Tacoma, and University Place, and in unincorporated Pierce County. Non-emergency crimes which may be reported online include lost property, vandalism, and theft (excluding theft of vehicles, license plates, firearms, or instances of fraud).

Those needing to file an eligible police report may access the reporting system from the South Sound 911 website, www.southsound911.org, and clicking on the red button to "File a Police Report."
