South Sound 911 is working with Trammell Crow Company and their team of design partners and construction partners to complete the site selection and acquisition, pre-development, design, and construction of the new public safety communications center.
Trammell Crow Company was selected by South Sound 911 after a rigorous RFQ (request for qualifications) and RFP (request for proposals) process conducted in partnership with Pierce County.

Tom Woodworth

In this role, Tom oversees all development and acquisition projects, new business pursuits, finance, and office operations throughout the Puget Sound region. His areas of expertise include market analysis, branding and marketing, debt and equity placement, lease negotiation, design team oversight and investment underwriting.

Prior to rejoining Trammell Crow Company, Tom served as a private investor, having retired from Schnitzer West in 2012 as a Senior Investment Director and Partner. During his 10-year tenure with Schnitzer, he oversaw the firm’s Bellevue CBD office, retail and industrial strategic business units, which developed more than 750,000 square feet of Class A office space, 300,000 square feet of luxury retail and 440,000 square feet of industrial space, collectively valued at over $530 million.

Tom held increasing roles of responsibility with Trammell Crow Company for 13 years, including City Leader where he ran a profitable business unit and oversaw the completion of One Convention place and Kirkland 405 office building developments. He also participated in the development of several industrial projects during his time with TCC.

Throughout his 28-year career, Tom has negotiated over 2 million square feet of commercial leases in the Pacific Northwest and led the disposition of over $1.5 billion of commercial asset sales.

Vice President, Development

Janet Donelson serves as Vice President of Trammell Crow Company’s Seattle Business Unit. In this role, she is responsible for all design, entitlement and permitting aspects of Trammell Crow Company’s development and acquisition activity in the Puget Sound region.
Prior to joining Trammell Crow Company, Janet led construction programs for medical and research facilities for Overlake Hospital Medical Center, the University of Washington School of Medicine, and Immunex (now Amgen). In that role she was responsible for project budgeting, funding, scheduling, permitting, design and construction of over 3 million square feet of highly technical buildings. Prior to her work for developers and users, she was the architect for multiple hospital expansions and modernization in California and Washington.
